X by Sue Grafton . Review

As a big Kinsey Milhone fan for many years I was so excited to get my hands on the newest book in the alphabet mystery series featuring main character  private investigator Kinsey Milhone. It was so much fun being back in Kinsey's world in Santa Teresa ,where bad guys are all in a day's work and bringing them to justice is as normal as her daily run or weekly dinner at Rosie's . If you are not familiar with Kinsey she is a single woman in her 30's and the story has remained on the 80's which sets it apart from any other series.
Kinsey rents her apartment from loveable and kind Henry who I believe is in his 80's and with every book in this series I have been praying Henry will make it to the end . They have a great friendship and there is a love there , they think very fondly of each other and look out for each other.
Kinsey likes casual dress, junk food , Rosie's restaurant ,reading and snooping when she gets a chance , with this story she gets to do a lot of that! There are plenty of double crossing, lying, cheating people in this book ! Kinsey and Henry also get new neighbours , but they may not be quite what they seem .....
All in all I loved this book but it is bittersweet as with each book I read we get closer to the end of the series and I am dreading that day. If you are a Sue Grafton fan pick this up. If you are not pick this up! Start with A and enjoy each and every book !
